Scott Alan Reeves, age 36, of South Boardman, passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2011 at Tendercare Gaylord. He was born on September 4, 1974 in Lansing to Wayne A. and Constance L. (McGoron) Reeves.
Scott married the former Amy Webb on October 26, 1996 in Fife Lake. He worked as heavy equipment operator in the construction field.
Scott loved fishing, snowmobiling and paintball. He was known as Mr. Fix-it to his family and friends because he could take apart anything, fix it, and put it back together.
Scott enjoyed a good meal and could always be found first in line at family and church potlucks. He was a member of the Operating Engineers Union #324 and Laborers Union #1098.
Scott was a deacon at the Kalkaska Baptist Church. He will be deeply missed by all those that knew and loved him.
Scott is survived by his devoted wife of nearly 15 years, Amy; his cherished daughter, Autumn Grace Reeves; his dear father, Wayne Reeves of Kalkaska; and his loving siblings, Tim (Stacey) Reeves of Warren and Gina (Bob) Tucker of Mancelona.
He was preceded in death by his dear mother, Constance Reeves and 3 precious babies.
Funeral services for Scott will be held on Monday, March 28, 2011 at 4 p.m. at the Kalkaska Baptist Church with Pastor Walter Skrine officiating.
Visitation will be for the 2 hours prior to the service. Burial will be in Boardman Township Cemetery in the spring.
