Sarah L. Russell, 8, of Fife Lake, died on Sunday evening, Feb 21, 1993 in Traverse City.
Sarah had lived for two years in Fife Lake, and before that she had lived in Mancelona. Sarah was a second grader at South Boardman Elementary School. She was a member of the Brownie Troop 305. She especially enjoyed the outdoors, and liked biking, fishing, and swimming.
On Feb 5, 1985 in Traverse City, she was born to Brian K. and Patricia A (Osborne) Russell.
She is survived by her father, Brian Russell of Mancelona; her mother Patricia Russell of Fife Lake; maternal grandparents, Mike and Midge Osborne of Mancelona; paternal grandparents, Elzie and Mary Russell of Mancelona; and maternal great grandmother, Irene Patrick of Mancelona; paternal great grandparents, Chester and Loretta Smulterowicz of Romeoville, IL; one brother, Daniel Birgy of Fife Lake; two step brothers, Allyn and Justin Roush of Mancelona; one step sister, Jene Roush of Mancelona; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services were held on Thu, Feb 25 at the Paullin Funeral Home in Mancelona with Pastor Mark McCool officiating.
Burial was in Fairview Cemetery, Mancelona.
