Chaffer, Sandra Jean age 63 of Columbiaville died December 24, 2010 at Brian’s Hospice House in Davison. Sandy was born August 27, 1947 in Goodrich. The daughter of Keith and Jean Seaman (Crankshaw). She later married James W. Chaffer on May 2, 1969 in Columbiaville. She enjoyed horseback riding, crafting, and spending time with her family and friends, Sandy was a member of the Columbiaville United Methodist Church, Columbiaville Women’s Service League, Friends of Southern Links Trailway, a Board Member of Southern Links Trailway Management Council, United Methodist Women, past member of Shiawassee Trail Riders Association and a past board member of Michigan Trail Riders Association. Sandy is survived her husband, Jim, son Terry (Amanda) Chaffer; parents, Keith and Jean Seaman; siblings: Diane Seaman, Valerie (Terry) Pace, Cheryl (Mike) Clark; brother-in-law, Terry Chaffer; grandchildren, Timothy, Brendan, and a host of other family and friends. Funeral service Tuesday 11:00am from the Columbiaville United Methodist Church, where friends may visit 1 hour prior to services. Rev. Kristin Parks officiating. Visitation Monday at Noon till 9:00pm from Jansen Family Funeral Home – Columbiaville. Interment Meadow Lawn Cemetery.
