Samuel L. Cole, 62, R.R. 2, died Wednesday in Blackford County Hospital.
He was a retired maintenance man. Mr. Cole was a veteran of WWII. He belonged to the American Legion and Bethel Center Church of the Brethren.
Surviving are his wife, Ninale; five sons, Samuel jr and Bill, both of Cape May, NJ, Arthur, Cary, and Anthony, all at home; four daughters, Mrs. Linda Ramseyer and Mrs. Vickie Taylor, both of Eaton, Mary G. at home, and Rhonda, St. Louis, MO; eight grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Mildred Flint, Hartford City; two brothers, Lloyd, Burlington, MI; and Harry, Hartford City.
Services will be at 10 am Friday in Keplinger Funeral Home, with Rev. Stan Rodabaugh officiating. Burial will be in Matthews Cemetery. Friends may call in the funeral home 2 to 9pm today.
