Mrs. S. Jean Moon, 89, of Kalkaska died Wed, Aug 28, 1996, at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
Mrs. Moon was born in Midland, Ontario Canada on Jul 28, 1907, to Daniel Edward and Frances Gertrude (Tebbutt) McAllister. On Jul 17, 1930, in Windsor, Ontario she married Charles Victor Moon who preceded her in death on Jan 17, 1965.
Mrs. Moon moved to Kalkaska in 1975, from Novi. She had been a former employee of the J.L. Hudson Company in Detroit. She was a member of the Kalkaska Senior Citizens and The Peoples Church. Surviving are two sons, Donald Moon and Edward Moon of Kalkaska.
Funeral services were held Sat, Aug 31, 1996, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Rev. Paul Karges, pastor of The Peoples Church, officiated. Burial was in Acacia Park Cemetery in Birmingham.
