Ruth S. Morrow, 82, of Kalkaska and Gingellville, died Jul 28, 1998.
Mrs. Morrow was born in Mt. Bethel on Jan 18, 1916, the daughter of area pioneers, Fred and Ella (Barron) Smith. She was a member of the Victory Baptist Church in South Boardman and the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, FL.
Surviving are her husband William; daughters Lynne (Robert) Martin of Fenton and Merrie (Ken) Haynes of Wyoming; granddaughter Stephanie (Frank) Nichols of Sterling Heights; great grandson William Nichols; brothers and sisters Myrtle (Lloyd) Hardy of Gaylord, Maud (Walter) Fernald of AL, Paul (Shirley) Naugle of Caro, Everett (Donna) Naugle of Grant, and Betty Mae (Gerald) Pace of Commerce Township; brother in law Ray Clark and sister in law Ruth Smith; an uncle, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, step father Everett Naugle, brother Clyde Smith and sister Neomia Clark.
Funeral services were held Jul 30 at the Linden Community Baptist Church. Burial was in Lakeside Cemetery, Holly.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Victory Baptist Church.
