Mrs. Ruth B. (Parker) Smith, 82, of Kalkaska, died Wednesday, Nov 11, 1992 at Tendercare in Traverse City.
Mrs. Smith moved to the Kalkaska area in 1975. She was a member of the Peoples Church and the Kalkaska Senior Citizens Club. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, and cards.
Mrs. Smith was born in Leslie on Jul 31, 1910 to Gerald and Maude Rhines Delano. She married John H Parker in Leslie in 1930, and he preceded her in death in 1973. In 1981, in Alden, she was married to Charles Smith who died in 1983.
Surviving are one son, John Parker of Kalkaska; one brother, Roland DeLano of FL; two grandsons, Michael Parker of KY and Patrick Parker of Kalamazoo; and one great granddaughter, Sonya Parker of KY.
One sister, Glady Doxater, preceded her in death.
Graveside services and interment will be held at a later date in Leslie. Memorial gifts may be directed to the Kalkaska Senior Citizens Club.
