Omard, Apr 8. Funeral services for Russell Clapsaddle, 42, who died unexpectedly Sat night at his farm home near Fife Lake, were held at 2pm on Tue in the Omard Methodist church with Rev. B.R. McNally, pastor, officiating. Burial was in the Omard Cemetery.
Mr. Clapsaddle was born October 20, 1899 in Flynn Township and attended the Omard School. He married Miss Mary Clark, Mar 29, 1924 in Brown City. He had lived in Flint until one year ago when he purchased a farm at Fife Lake.
He is survived by his widow, two sons, Zane and Wayne Clapsaddle; two daughters, Betty Jean and Pauline, all at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Clapsaddle, Flynn Township; two brothers, Vernon Clapsaddle, Peck, and Victor Clapsaddle, of Flynn Township, and a sister, Mrs. Carl Diem of Flint.
