Russell H Cook, 73, 508 Franklin St, died Tuesday in Blackford County Hospital, where he had been a patient since Sunday.
He retired from Overhead Door Co. He was a member of the Moose Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Myrtle; one son, Russell H Cook Jr, Indianapolis; two daughters, Mrs. Clarence (Joy) Chase, Chatham, NY, and Mrs. Harold (Carolyn) Turner, Hartford City; five stepsons, Robert Hammond, Milford, CT; Bill Hammond, Columbia City, Bud Hammond, Kentwood, MI, Jess Hammond, Hartford City, and Larry Hurley, Albion; two stepdaughters, Betty Dodds and Mrs. Sharon Alfrey, both of Hartford City; nine grandchildren; 20 step grandchildren, five great grandchildren and six step great grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 pm Thursday in Keplinger Funeral Home, with Rev. Robert C. Neel officiating. Burial will be in Willman Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home 4 to 9 pm today and before services Thursday.
