Mrs. Ruby T. Shepard, 77, of Kalkaska, died Wed, Jan 8, 1992 at Munson Medical Center.
Mrs. Shepard moved to Kalkaska in 1973 from Battle Creek. She had been employed at Kellogg Food Company prior to her retirement in 1970. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, fishing, and hunting.
Mrs. Shepard was born in Somerset County, PA on Feb 15, 1914 to Albert and Bertha Halman Teets. On Mar 20, 1948, in Battle Creek, she was married to Howard Shepard who survives.
She is also survive by one brother, William Teets of Gilbert, PA; and several nieces and nephews.
One brother, Al Teets, and one sister, Mary Slater, preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held Sun, Jan 12, 1992 at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. E. Dan Johnson, pastor of the Kalkaska Church of Christ, officiated. Burial was in Lodi Cemetery, Kalkaska County.
