Roy Wayne Watson, 34, of Kalkaska, died Sun, May 24, 1990, at Grand Traverse Community Hospital of injuries suffered in a car-motorcycle accident.
Mr. Watson was a lifelong resident of Kalkaska, and a graduate of Kalkaska High School. He had been employed in the oil industry and at Wayne Wire Cloth Products. He enjoyed electronics.
Mr. Watson was born in Albion on Jun 11, 1957, to Wayne and Sally Cruse Watson. On Dec 3, 1977, in Kalkaska he was married to Marsha Short who survives.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his parents of Kalkaska; three sisters, Robin Mamo of Oregon, WI, Wanda Watson of Columbus, OH, and Rita Gerring of South Boardman; his paternal grandmother, Ardis Watson of Kalkaska; his maternal grandmother, Gertrude Cruse of Albion; five nephews; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
One brother, Mark Alan Watson, preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held Wed, May 27, 1992, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Keith Whipple officiated. Burial was in Excelsior Township Cemetery, Kalkaska County.
