Roy V. Allen, age 88, of Perry, died Tuesday, March 5, 1996, at the Memorial Healthcare Center, Owosso.
Mr. Allen was a farmer, also worked for Jordon Manufacturing and did some logging.
Services will be held at Nelson House Funeral Homes (LaRowe Chapel) Perry, Friday, March 8 at ?a.m. Rev. Jim Salo will officiate with burial in Glass River Cemetery. Visitation will be today, 9 a.m. to ? a.m. with the family being present and ? to 4 and 7 to 9p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Allen was born in Milford, Mich, on Dec 8, 1907, the son of Ben and Anna(VanGordon) Allen. He was married to Eva Cain, who predeceased him in August 1982.
Mr. Allen was a member of Perry Church of Nazarene.
Survivors include: three daughters, Erma (Robert) Hudson, Arlene (Ted) Rowley all of Shaftsburg, and Shirley (Gary) Hitchcock of Franklin, N.C.; one son, Harold (Julie) of Shaftsburg; 23 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, one brother, Harley (Elaine) Allen. He was predeceased by his wife and two children, Leroy and Jack.
