Mrs. Rosemary Kay (DeWitt) Watson, 42, of Williamsburg, died Fri, Apr 3, 1992 at Grand Traverse Community Hospital.
Mrs. Watson had been a resident of the Kalkaska Grand Traverse area since 1970. She was a graduate of the Northwestern Beauty Academy, and had been employed by Dawn Donuts, Grand Traverse Resort, and Perry Drug Store. She enjoyed bingo and had a special interest in the Grand Traverse Area Women's Resource Center.
Mrs. Watson was born in Albion on Jun 2, 1949, to Earl and Iona Harvey DeWitt. On Sep 16, 1966, in Marengo she was married to Ronald L. Watson who survives.
Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Ronald Matthew Watson of Traverse City; one daughter, Stephanie Jean Watson at home; five sisters, Mrs. Henry (Shirley) Barber and Mrs. Robert (Margie) Smith both of Marengo, Mrs. Dale (Linda) Watson of East Jordan, Mrs. Richard (Ruthann) Simmons of Home and Mrs. Sam (Cathy) Taylor of Albion; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one infant brother.
Funeral services were held Mon, Apr 6, 1992 at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Jeff Badgero officiated. Burial was in Excelsior Township Cemetery, Kalkaska County.
