Rose Mary Asher, 61, of Kalkaska died Thu, Aug 26, 1999, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
Rose was born in Gary, IN, on Dec 6, 1937, the daughter of the late Gerald and Ann (Wisner) Asher.
She resided in Detroit until 25 years ago when she moved to Kalkaska. She enjoyed knitting, art, and especially her family.
Surviving are sons Wallace Nelson of St. Clair Shores, James Duff, Harley Duff, and Michael Duff, all of Kalkaska, and William Duff of St Clair Shores; daughter Candice Nelson of Kalkaska; sisters Gloria Connelly of White Lake, Dode Cooper of Fowlerville and Jerry Reynolds of Highland Township; 11 grandchildren; and many others to whom she brought love and joy into their lives.
Brother James Asher preceded her in death.
Funeral services were Aug 30 at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Pastor James Hagler officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
