Rosalie Ann (Hall) Martinson, 51, of Stonewall, went home to be with the Lord, Friday, Jun 11, 1999, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born May 12, 1948, in South Boardman, she is the daughter of Alice Alveretta (Brewer) and Kenneth William Hall. On Jun 12, 1965, in Kalkaska, she married Calvin Lewis Martinson.
Rosalie attended Kalkaska High School and East Baptist College in Monroe, TX, to study nursing. A homemaker, she enjoyed crocheting, embroidery, caring for her family and her grandchildren.
She is survived by her stepfather and mother, Kenneth and Alice Clark of South Boardman; husband Calvin Sr. of Stonewall, LA; daughters, Kristen (Marcus) Hartline of Shreveport, LA and Regina (Tony) Key of Bethany, LA; sons, Calvin Jr. (Melissa) Logan, LA, Eric (Cindy) of Rockwall, TX, and Kirk (Tifany) and Kenneth (Shannon), both of Shreveport; grandchildren, Brittany, Anna, Emily, Dustin, Patrick, Chelsea, and Caleb; brothers, Charles (Billie) Hall of Centerline, and John (Sandra) Hall of South Boardman; sistes, Roberta (Lonnie) Kleeman of Fife Lake, Marjorie Brunett of Sparta, and Rebecca (Peter) Cole of Cedar; stepbrother and stepsisters Michael (Eileen) Clark of Wixom, Gayle Stults of Kalamazoo, Carol Maatz of IN, and Linda Clark of Battle Creek; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father in 1974, infant brother, James William in 1941, and niece Rhonda Sullivan in 1998.
Funeral services were Jun 15 at Agape Funeral Home in Bossier City, LA. A memorial service will be held at 2pm Sat, Jun 19, at Evergreen Bible Baptist Church, Kalkaska, with Pastor Bill Kuiper officiating.
