Retired conservation officer, Rollie A Bullock, 72, of rural Bluffton, died of cancer at 5:10am today at Lutheran Hospital where he was admitted February 18.
Mr. Bullock was an Indiana conservation officer for 37 years and at the time of his retirement in Jul 1979 was the officer with the longest period of service.
He was a member of the Sugar Grove Methodist Church and Elk Lodges, both at Dunkirk of Bluffton Masonic Lodge, Wells County Coon Hunter Club, and Murray Conservation Club.
An avid coon hunter, Mr. Bullock was born Jul 26, 1915 in Dunkirk to Herbert and Florence Reasoner Bullock. His marriage to Jane Borror, who survives, took place October 5, 1946 in Bluffton.
Other survivors include two sons, Tony R. Bullock of Bluffton and Clifford Lee Bullock of St. Louis Missouri; two daughters, Mrs. Vance (Elizabeth Ann) Bickham of Bellefontaine, OH, and Mrs. Larry (Betty June) Lannert of Bellville, IL; a sister, Mrs. Edward (Mary) Maley of Fort Myers, FL; a brother, Gerald Bullock of Dunkirk, and several grandchildren.
After 1pm Tue friends will be received at Thoma-Rich Funeral Home. Services there at 1:30PM Wed will be in charge of Rev. Russell Harris and burial will be in Six Mile Cemetery.
Masonic memorial services will be at 7pm Tue at the funeral home.
Preferred are memorials to the Six Mile Church and Cemetery.
