Robin A. Cottrell, 44, of Kalkaska, died Mon, Apr 24, 2000, at her home.
Robin had been a lifelong resident of the Kalkaska area, and was a 1974 graduate of Kalkaska High School. She had worked as a waitress and daycare provider, and was a member of the Kalkaska United Methodist Church. She was an advocate for open adoption, and enjoyed reading, flowers and her family.
She was born in Cadillac on Dec 28, 1955, the daughter of Myron and Betty Haskin Blake. On Aug 27, 1977, in Kalkaska, she was united in marriage with Lee Cottrell, who survives.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her children Autumn and Austin Cottrell, both at home; parents Myron and Betty Blake of Kalkaska; brother Donald (Phyllis) Blake of Fife Lake; sisters Vickie (Larry) Francis of Elmira and Valerie (Bryan) McInerney of Fife Lake; paternal grandmother Margie Blake of fife Lake; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Memorial services were Apr 26 at Kalkaska United Methodist Church; Bryan McInerney officiated.
