Robert L. Harvey, 66, of Twin Lake, Kalkaska County, died Tue, May 25, 1993 at home.
Mr. Harvey had been coming to the area since 1978, and in November of 1986 he moved to this area permanently.
He was self-employed as a pattern maker, and he co-owned and operated Crescent Pattern Company in Detroit.
He was a member of St. Anthony Church in Mancelona. He enjoyed making model airplanes, and he was a member of the model airplane club of Kalkaska; Kalkaska Area Model Pilots Society AMA Charter 986; Academy of Model Aeronautics; Also he was a member of the Michigan Bowhunters Association, and he enjoyed fishing.
He was born Jan 5, 1927 in Detroit to William J. and Florence (MacDonald) Harvey.
On Jun 16, 1951, he was married to Marilyn Grice in Detroit, and she survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Robert Alan Harvey of Clinton Township and Thomas Craig Harvey of Detroit, two grandchildren and one brother, William R. Harvey of Roscommon.
The mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thu, May 27, at St. Anthony Church in Mancelona with Rev. William Zwiefka officiating.
Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery in Kalkaska.
A scripture service was held on Wednesday evening at the Paullin Funeral Home in Mancelona.
Memorials may be given to St. Anthony Church Building Fund or the North Country Hospice Inc.
