Robert K. "Bob" Johnson, 71, of Traverse City, passed away on Fri, Apr 1, 2011 at Munson Medical Center. He was born on Apr 14, 1939 in Mancelona to the late Wilfred and Wilma (Sheller) Johnson.
He married the former Diane L Bandlow on Nov 9, 1968 in Kalkaska. Together they raised three wonderful children. They moved to Traverse City in 1991. Bob retired from the Sara Lee Corporation where he worked as a mantenance man. He enjoyed riding his trike and having coffee with friends.
Bob is survived by his devoted wife of 43 years, Diane; his six loving children, Pattie Fuller of East Jordan, Kelly Conway of Alabama, Bobby (Kelly) Johnson of Gaylord, Michelle Johnson of South Boardman, Heather (Jack) Bickel of Traverse City, and Kevin (Amy) Johnson of Kingsley; 20 cherished grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and his dear brothers, Ron (Nancy) Johnson of Dewitt, Ken (Lilo) Johnson of Winter Park, FL, and Chuck (Linda) Johnson of Mancelona.
A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Wed, Apr 20, 2011 at Fairview Cemetery in Mancelona.
