Robert J. Watson, 54, of Kalkaska died Thu, Apr 7, 1994, at Traverse City Community Hospital.
Mr. Watson was a lifelong resident of the Kalkaska area, and had attended Crawford and Kalkaska High School. He was employed by Bronson Production Company, and enjoyed bowling and golfing.
Born on Jan 25, 1940, in West Branch, he was the son of Glen and Elizabeth Montgomery Watson. On Nov 23, 1963, in Mancelona, he was married to Sandra Dietz who survives.
Besides his wife, he is survived by six daughters, Kelly Casas of Turkey, Genny Gates and Michelle Anderson both of Kalkaska, Terri Whipple of Walloon Lake, Wendy Watson of Mancelona, and Stacy Watson of Rapid City; his stepmother Adah Watson of Athens; four brothers, Richard, Joseph of Goodrich, David of Kalkaska, and Paul of Pleasant Prairie, WI; two sisters, Ruth Young of Arlington Heights, IL, and Hannah Watson of Mason; and 14 grandchildren.
One son, Robert, preceded him in death in 1986.
Funeral services were held Sat, Apr 9, 1994, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Ken Doss officiated.
Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
