Robert J. Fisher, 87, of South Boardman, died Feb 18, 1998, at home, surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Fisher moved to Kalkaska County 23 years ago from Detroit. Prior to his retirement he was a superintendent for the Biltmore Development Company. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling, and was a former member of the Hiawatha Sportsman's Club.
Mr. Fisher was born in Riley on Oct 23, 1910, to Orange and Katherine Biedersteadt Fisher. He married Mildred Fraser in East Lansing on Mar 15, 1941.
Surviving are his wife Mildred; son Robert A. (Marlene) Fisher of Sun Lakes, AZ; daughter Mary Katherine (Delvyn) Rockwell of Wayne; grandchildren Cherrie (Scott) Morgan of South Boardman and Dale (Audrey) Rockwell of Alden; and Bobby and Scott Fisher both of AZ; and five great grandchildren.
No services are planned.
