Robert (Bob) Hodges, 57, died suddenly Sep 1, 1997, in Caro.
Mr. Hodges was born Sep 20, 1939, in Cass City and lived in Caro most of his life vacationing in Kalkaska.
He was trained as a tool and die maker and worked for Eugene Welding Company in Marlette. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and wildlife especially his pet raccoon "Mikie."
He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Birdsall of Kalkaska; second wife, Diana Mapley of Flint; mother Jean Donaldson of Caro; sister, Judith Westerby of Kingston, brother, Dave Orban of Cat Lake, and six grandchildren, James, Jennifer, Travis, Abbey, Brian, and Christopher.
He was preceded in death by his father Roy Hodges; son James Hodges and first wife, Ruth Bowen.
Funeral services were held Thu, Sep 4, 1997, at Collins Funeral Home in Caro. Rev. Calvin Blue officiated. Burial was in Wahjamega Cemetery.
