Robert H Hass, 91, a resident of Kalkaska for the past 15 years, died Fri, Mar 29, 1991, at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
Mr. Hass was an upholsterer for the Pere Marquette and C & O Railroads, and lived in Ludington prior to moving to Kalkaska. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and the Kalkaska Senior Citizens Club.
He was born in Ionia on Sep 20, 1899 to Frank and Bertha Kosbar Hass. He married Viva Wilson in Ionia, and she preceded him in death in 1948.
Surviving are one son, Donald Hass of Flint; two daughters, Marion O'Neal of Flint and Laura Novak of Saginaw; nine grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; one niece and two nephews.
Two brothers, Albert and Lavern, and one sister, Mable Orwig, preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held Mon, Apr 1, 1991, at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Rev. Ted Turanski officiated. Committal services were held Monday at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Saginaw.
