Robert “Bob” E. Carll, 89, passed away Feb 2, 2022 at his residence.
He was born in Blackford County on Jul 25, 1932 to Robert J Carll and Effie (Lanning) Carll. His parents preceded him in death.
He graduated from Hartford City High School. He married Anna P (Brenner) Carl on Feb 13, 1960 in Hartford City.
Bob retired from 3M Company on Aug 1, 1992 after 38 years of service. He was former owner and operator of Bob’s Water Softener Company in Hartford City. He was a member of the Hartford City Moose Lodge and the United Paper Workers International Local #186. He also was a member of the St. John and Evangelist Roman Catholic Church.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of 62 years, Anna P Carll of Hartford City children, Teresa Ann George (companion, Paul Fear) of Springfield, MO, Julie Lynn (husband, J.C.) Osborn of Woodburn, IN, and Randy Allen (wife, Pilan Whitehawk) Carll of Hartford City; grandchildren, Dustin (wife, Amy) George, Brandon George, Cole Osborn, and Daylon Carll; step grandchild, Brandon (wife, Britni) Fear; great grandchildren, Baylor George, Nevaeh George, Layla Fear, Stella Fear and Cassidi Fear; several nieces and nephews.
He is also preceded in death by his grandson, Cody Osborn and siblings, Charles J Carll, Leo Carll, Bud Carll, and Mary Alice Bowman.
Funeral service will be at 1 pm Mon, Mar 7, 2022 at Keplinger Funeral Home, 509 N High St, Hartford City. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory, Muncie.
Visitation will be from 12 to 1 pm Mon, Mar 7, 2022 at Keplinger Funeral Home.
