Robert D. Risinger, 46, died Thu, Oct 14, 1999, at his home near Manistee Lake, Bear Lake Township.
He was born May 4, 1953, in Pontiac, the son of Harold Dale and Dorothy (Newsum) Risinger. Robert had cut wood for 30 years and was the owner/operator of B&L Firewood for the last 15 years. He enjoyed hunting and four wheeling.
Robert is survived by his significant other Linda Brendl of Kalkaska; daughter Karie (Bob) Luton of Kalkaska; son Jesse Brendel of Kalkaska; granddaughters Deanna Ray Luton of Kalkaska and Alicia Renae Brendel of Clarkston; father Harold Dale (Margaret) Risinger of Lake Orion; paternal grandmother Viola Rice of Lake Orion; sisters Cynthia (Mike) Bosnack-Flynn of Clarkston and Christine Risinger of Lake Orion; brothers Terry Risinger of Lake Orion, Craig (Tammy) Risinger of Grand Rapids, and Keith (Kelli) Risinger of New Hudson; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends Tim Brewer and Delores Sammons, both of Gaylord.
He was preceded in death by his mother Dorothy Risinger in 1981 and brother Donnie Risinger in 1974.
Funeral services were Oct 17 at the Paullin-Penzien Funeral Home in Mancelona; Pastor robert Lockhard officiated.
