Robert A. Schroeder, 63, of Kalkaska, died Wed, Nov 27, 1991 at his residence.
Mr. Schroeder was born in Plymouth, on Jul 17, 1928, son of the late Floyd and Bertha Hazen Schroeder. On Nov 28, 19987, in Kalkaska he was united in marriage with Adrian Bloomquist.
Mr. Schroeder moved to Kalkaska five years ago from Pennsylvania. Prior to his retirement in January, he had been employed as a press operator at Midwest Forge and Cutlery Co. He enjoyed fishing.
Surviving are his wife, Adrian; one sons, Timothy Schroeder of Whitmore Lake; two daughters, Susan Currier of Marine City and Lynn Olszewski of Wayne; one stepsons Daniel Bloomquist of South Lyons; three brothers, Floyd Schroeder, Jr of Canton, Donald Schroeder of Plymouth, and Leon Schroeder of Arizona; three sisters, Geraldine Pierce of Kalkaska, Dorothy Perkins of Reed City, and Shirley Basset of Wayne; nine grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Jane Stanley.
Funeral services were held Sat, Nov 30, 1991 at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Father Patrick J Barrett, pastor of St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church, officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
