Robert A. Porter Jr, 69, of Blue Lake Twp died May 24, 2003, at his home.
He was born in Onondaga Twp, the son of Robert A and Evelyn A (Jones) Porter.
He was employed by General Motors Corp in Lansing for 30 years. He had resided in Eaton Rapids for many years before moving to Blue Lake Township in 1990.
He enjoyed spending time with his family.
On Nov 1, 1952, in Homer, he married Maryann F Molden, who survives his passing.
Also surviving are a son, Robert A (Theresa) Porter III; daughter, Mary E (Roger) Crowley of Holt; brothers, Kenneth Porter of Hanover, Richard (Sylvia) Porter of Oakland, CA; sisters, Sheila (Darrow) Dungy and Sharon Phillip, both of Jackson; six grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.
Memorial contributions in honor of Porter may be made to the charity of donor's choice.
Arrangements were handled by the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
