Rita Lucille Rhoades, 33, a resident of Holt and Kalkaska areas, died February 11, 1991 at her home in Holt after a lengthy illness.
Born July 14, 1957, in Ingham County, she was the daughter of Leo Bernard and Hilda (Groner) Bateman.
She is survived by three sons; Jeffrey and John Eckelbecker, and Dusten Rhoades; two daughters: Christyle and Kay Rhoades; her father, Leo Bernard Bateman; and maternal grandmother, Opal L. Groner; two brothers, Bernard and Thomas Bateman: four sisters, Diana Kyte, Rebecca Gamez, Sheila Jenks and Judith Chapman.
She was preceded in death by her mother on Dec. 9, 1990.
Graveside services were held April 8, 1991 at Excelsior Cemetery, Kalkaska County.
