Rickie Wayne Welch, 18 month old son of Cadet and Mrs. Ivan Welch of Chicago, IL, died Sat evening at Swedish Covenant Hospital in Chicago.
Rickie was the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lake of Traverse City and was born on May 22, 1962 at Ludington.
Surviving are: the paretns; a sister, Christine, at home; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lake and Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Welch, Sr., of Elkhart, IN; and several aunts and uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 3pm Wed at Martinson Funeral Home in Traverse City, Brigadier Olin Brigman, Divisional commander of the Salvation Army officiating, with burial in the family lot in Oakwood Cemetery.
