Richard Clel Lockhart, 80, of South Boardman, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2010, at home surrounded by his family.
Richard was born on May 3, 1930, to Walter and Francis Lockhart of Panther, W.Va. Richard was one of 13 children.
He leaves behind his wife, Shirley Ann (Getty) Lockhart; and his five children, Julie Smedley (Mark), Rebecca Savage (Randy Dorvinen), Bradley Lockhart (Michelle), David Lockhart and Aaron Lockhart (Cass). He also leaves behind 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Richard enjoyed many years of fishing, bingo, and playing cards.
A remembrance gathering will be held from 3 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 2, at the Kalkaska Commission on Aging, 303 Coral St., Kalkaska.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
The family is being served by Kalkaska Funeral and Cremation Services.
