Richard Charles Woodin, 69, of South Boardman, passed away peacefully on Sun, Aug 1, 2010. Richard was born on Jan 5, 1941 in Muskegon, MI to the late Niles Emery and Lucille Victoria (Schrebe) Woodin. Richard served in the US Marine Corp from Jul 1958 to Jul 1964 and was a member of the American Legion in South Boardman. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Maxine Wilson and Shirley Sanford. He is survived by 7 children - Brenda McKamie of Traverse City (Ralph) of Colorado Springs, CO, Jeff Woodin of Port Lavaca, TX, Rick (Kathy) Woodin of Colorado Springs, CO, Craig (Ashley) Woodin of Kansas City, KS, Becky Pierson (Dan) reside in Germany, Niles (Joanne) Woodin of San Antonio, TX, John (Tiffany) Woodin of Kansas City, KS; his two brothers, George (Joanne) Woodin of Rapid City, Glen (Sally) Woodin of Grandville, MI; one sister, Marion Lake of HInkley, IL. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Sat, Sep 11, 2010 at 11 am at the Legion Hall in South Boardman. Services provided by Wolfe-O'Neill Funeral Home.
