Richard “Dick” Clair Adams, 76, of Kalkaska, passed away Monday, June 10, 2019 at Munson Hospice House. Mr. Adams was born on January 3, 1943 in Johnstown, PA to the late Kenneth George and Florence Louise (Neral) Adams. Dick proudly served in the US Air Force during Vietnam. He worked for British Airways out of Detroit Metro for over 40 years. Finally, after retiring, Dick and his wife, of over 52 years, Sandra moved to their little piece of heaven in northern Michigan. He became active in the Lake City American Legion and together they attended the Fife Lake United Methodist Church. Dick was an outdoors man who loved to hunt, especially bow hunting, and fiercely loved his family. Dick will be lovingly remembered by his wife Sandra (Touroo); son Daniel (Kim) Adams, and daughter Kathleen (John) Steele; grandchildren: Carly Adams, Joseph Adams, and Christopher (Mercedes Knudsen) Steele; and sister Maxine Plummer. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his daughter Deborah Kay Adams. Services for Dick will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Kalkaska Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
