Richard Behrendt, 58, of Kalkaska, died Sun, Apr 17, 1994, at Munson Medical Center.
Mr. Behrendt moved to Kalkaska in 1989from Shelby Township. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Dresser Industries. He served in the U.S. Army, and enjoyed gardening and cooking.
Mr. Behrendt was born in Detroit on Jun 4, 1935, son of the late Otto and Marry Randozzo Behrendt. On Dec 2, 1967, in Warren, he was married to Joy Boone who survives.
Also surviving are 2 sons, Richard Jr, and Dennis both of Garden City; one daughter, Lucille of Sterling Heights; one step son William Boone of Detroit; one step daughter, Debra Ball of Kalkaska; two brothers, three sisters, five grandchildren; and five step grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wed, Apr 20, 1994, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Rev. Charles VanLente, pastor of the Kalkaska United Methodist Church officiated. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
