Mr. Raymond Zimmerman, aged 79, of 729 Ferris NW, passed away at his residence Sat. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Raymond (Ruth) Haytt; 4 sons, Donald, L.D., Leo and Max Zimmerman all of Grand Rapids; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Zimmerman was the founder and former owner of the Zimmerman garage now located at 1551 Godfrey SW. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 pm at the VanStrien Alman Funeral Home, 1833 Plainfield NE with the Rev. David Hill of the Fairview Wesleyan Church officiating. Interment in Rosedale Memorial Park. Mr. Zimmerman reposes at the funeral home where friends may meet the family Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.
