Raymond J Galley, 82, of Kalkaska Thu, Aug 17, 1995, at his residence.
Mr. Galley moved to Kalkaska in 1975, from Garden City, following his retirement from Ford Motor Company. He enjoyed gardening and fishing.
Born in Detroit on Apr 22, 1913, he was the son of William and Frances Gable Galley. On Jan 6, 1940, in Detroit, he married Blanche Kucharczyk who survives.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Gene Galley of Walled Lake; one daughter, Mrs. Paul (DeAnna) Lehnen of Fountain Hill, AZ; two sisters, Louise Kelley and Ida Uridge both of Kalamazoo; one granddaughter; one great grandson; seven nieces and 15 nephews.
Two brothers and four sisters preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held Sat, Aug 19, 1995, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Father Patrick J Barrett, pastor of St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church, officiated. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center Long Term Care Unit.
