Raymond H Carrigan, age 50, of Mancelona, passed away on Nov 1, 2017 at his home. Ray was born on Mar 31, 1967 in Detroit to the late Herbert and Kay (Hetfield) Carrigan.
Ray loved listening to music with many radio stations on speed dial so that he could listen to his favorite songs. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially in the sunshine of the summer months, and sitting around many bonfires. He was known for his use of the word “gooder.” He would teach all of the children in his life that this was a real word. He loved watching football, especially Detroit Lions, Ohio State, and Michigan.
Ray is survived by his fiancée, Patricia Fuller; children, Desirae Carrigan and Paige Carrigan; stepdaughter, Alisa Schulz; stepson, Scott (Brandi) McGuff; sisters, Cindy (Jimmy) Roberts and Delores Alexander; brothers, Rocky (Brandi) Carrigan and Tim Fuller; in laws, Elaine and Elmer Fuller; nine cherished grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
He will be greatly missed by his family, as he was a true family man who always helped in any way that he could. He will also be missed by his friends that became part of his family.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Todd, Jean, Betty, and Carol; and brother in law, Jim.
Memorial services will be held at 1 pm on Mon, Nov 13, 2017 at the Mancelona Free Methodist Church in Mancelona.

Arrangements are being handled by the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
