Raymond Edward McCauley, 58, of Opp, AL, passed away on Apr 10, 2010. He was born on Aug 2, 1951 in Kalkaska, the son of the late Orville C and Ruth E (Burton) McCauley.
Ed was a veteran of the US Army serving during the Vietnam War. He was involved in Home Health Care. Ed's hobbies included picking mushrooms, gardening, and the 'great outdoors.' He loved spending time with his family and his dog, Charlie.
Surviving Ed are his siblings, Kenneth "Pat" (Grace) McCauley, Darlene (Devere) Bourne, and Mike (Sue) McCauley, all of Kalkaska, Richard "Dick" (Loretta) McCauley of Davison, Dan (Tina) McCauley of Meadeview, AZ, and Linda (Larry) Parker of Steele, MO; and his step-children, Joe Watts of Kalkaska and Tina Belcher of Rapid City.
Preceding Ed in death are his siblings, Shirley Ruth Woodruff Vanslyke, Nancy Woodruff, Timothy Chester McCauley, Lorelei McCauley and Darrell McCauley.
A graveside service will be held on Sat, Apr 17, 2010 at 3 pm at Clark Cemetery in Fife Lake. Jeff Badgero officiating.
