Randy L Nygren, 51, died Apr 26, 2005, in Traverse City.
Randy was born Mar 24, 1954, in Lansing to Robert and Mary Smyth Nygren.
He was married Apr 27, 1974, in Howell to Trudy Cozma, who survives.
Randy was a 1972 graduate of Fowlerville High School. He served in the US Air Force. He was a member of First Baptist Church and Hidden Springs Christian Retreat Center.
Randy was former owner of Breakfast and Burger Express in Kalkaska.
He loved his family and the Lord and kept his sense of humor through all his troubles. Randy loved to tell jokes and fish with his grandsons.
Surviving are his wife, Trudy, sons, Matthew (Keisha) and Michael; grandsons, Tevin, Caleb, and Andres, all of Kalkaska; father, Robert; sisters, Mary Ellen Nygren, Robin Moore of AZ, and Sue Tiams of CA; brothers, Vern and Edward of AZ and John of CA; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary, and sister, Dawn Savage.
Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church of Fowlerville on May 2, with Pastor Lloyd Williams of First Baptist Church officiating. Burial was at Greenwood Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Arrangements were handled by Niblack Funeral Home in Fowlerville.
