Ralph Tuck, the former owner of a Redding spring and steel shop, died Monday at Deaconess Hospital in Spokane, WA.
Tuck was born Nov 24, 1913 in Massachusetts, IN. He operated a spring an steel shop in Redding for 14 years. He invented and patented a robot irrigating machine and manufactured bob-sleds that were used in Olympic competition.
He leaves his wife, Janet of Airway Heights, WA; a son, Orville of Granhaven, MI; a daughter, Dianne Inokie of Hawaii; three stepsons of Libby, MT; a sister, Doris Jenkins; eight grandchildren and seven step grandchildren.
Funeral services for Tuck were conducted Jul 12 at the First United Presbyterian Church in Libby, MT. Interment followed at the City of Libby Cemetery.
