Ralph A. Hansen, 43, of Kalkaska, died Wednesday evening, Jul 17, 1991, at his residence.
Mr. Hansen moved to Kalkaska 12 years ago from Traverse City. He was a 1965 graduate of Benzie Central High School, and attended Northwestern Michigan College and Western Michigan University. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, and was previously employed at the grand Traverse Medical Care Facility. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the outdoors.
Mr. Hansen was born in Frankfort on Nov 8, 1947 to Arthur and Irma Gum Hansen. His father preceded him in death in 1976.
Surviving are his mother, Irma Hansen of Benzonia; one brother, Lyle Hansen of Bellaire; four sisters, Dorothy Probst of Northport, Phyllis Pezet of Waterford, Gladys Hansen of Daytona Beach, FL, and Marjorie Eriksen of Warren; his fiance, Ann Watkins of Grand Rapids; eight nieces and three nephews.
Memorial services were held Sat, Jul 27, 1991 at Benzonia Congregational Church. Rev. Forest Hoppe officiated. Burial was in Benzonia Community Cemetery in Benzonia.
