Mrs. Russell (Phyllis) Annis, 44, of 507 Barlow died Tue morning at Munson Medical Center following a brief illness.
She was born Mar 28, 1924, in Traverse City, the daughter of Glenn and Edna Burrows. A life-long resident of this city, she attended Boardman School and graduated from Traverse City High School. On August 8, 1948, she married Russell Annis in Traverse City.
Surviving in addition to her husband, are three sons, Jerome, Joel and Kurt all at home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Burrows of Traverse City; two brothers, Max Burrows of Elk Rapids and Jerome Burrows of Bunker Hill Rd, Acme; one sister, Mrs. Ted (Lois) McManus of Garfield Rd; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Fri at 11am at Reynolds Funeral Home with Dr. Howard Towne of the First Congregational Church officiating. Burial will be in Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens.
