Phyllis L Jackson, of Kalkaska, passed away on Jul 30, 2005, at the Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
Born on Jan 11, 1944, in Kalkaska, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Donna (Kniss) Jackson.
Phyllis graduated from Kalkaska High School in 1964. She was previously employed by Munson and was a member of the Kalkaska Church of Christ.
Phyllis enjoyed sewing, needle work, reading and appreciated flowers. She also enjoyed reading her Bible and liked people in general. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Phyllis is survived by her children, Michael Dale (Bonnie) Jackson of Kalkaska and Julie Ann Jackson of Traverse City; granddaughters, Brittany Lynn Jackson and Krista Ann Jackson of Kalkaska; siblings, Fay (Edna) Jackson of South Boardman, Robert L (Jerry) Bruinekool of Kentwood, Clifford L (Kay) Jackson of Gladston, Annabelle L (Donald) Haviland of Rockford, Patricia L (Will) Rodgers of Kalkaska, Clesson L (Mary) Jackson of Grand Rapids; and sister in law, Jeanne (Richard) Lee of Kalkaska.
Phyllis is preceded in death by her parents and her grandson, Eric Anthony Jackson, on Oct 9, 1995.
Visitation will be on Wed, Aug 3, from 5 to 9 pm at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. The funeral service will be on Thu at 11 am at the funeral home with Dan Johnson from the Kalkaska Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be at Lodi Cemetery.
