Philip H. Dagenais, 85, of Waterford, died Thu, Jul 14, 1994, at St. Joseph Hospital in Pontiac.
Mr. Dagenais spent most of his life in the Central Lake, Kalkaska, Farwell, Clare, Rapid City, and Pontiac areas. Prior to his retirement, he had been employed by Pontiac Motors and as a mechanic for Ford Tractor Service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening.
Born in Alpena on Aug 13, 1908, he was the son of Joseph and Denelda Labarge Dagenais. On Oct 22, 1927, in Flint, he was united in marriage with Illa Petty who survives.
Besides his wife, he is survived by 3 sons, Jack of Milford, Dallas of Orchard Lake, and, Wesley of Tennessee; 3 daughters, Betty Hart of Ohio, and Carol Pirkola and Kathleen Mark both of Waterford; 1 sisters, Bernadette Scriver of Livonia; 15 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
Two sons, Lawrence and David; 1 daughter, Janice Joerin; 2 brothers, Harmos and Middie; 2 sisters, Annabelle Thompson and Blanche Weskalnies; and 1 great grandson, Matthew, preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held Sat, Jul 16, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Neil Hendricks officiated. Burial was in Boardman Township Cemetery, Kalkaska County.
