Mrs. Pearl L. Jackson, 95, of St. Ignace, died Mon, Mar 11, 1991 at the Long Term Care Unit of Mackinac Straits Hospital in St. Ignace.
Mrs. Jackson moved to St. Ignace seven years ago from Kalkaska. She had worked as a food supervisor at St. Mary's Hospital, Wurzberg's Department Store and Herpolshiemer's Department Store in Grand Rapids. She was a member of Kalkaska Church of Christ, and enjoyed gardening, baking, and homemaking.
Mrs. Jackson was born in Newaygo County on Mar 15, 1895 to John and Eva Heckel Wiser. On Jul 5, 1913, in Detroit, she was married to Clifford Jackson who preceded her in death on Feb 19, 1973.
Surviving are one son, Robert Jackson of South Boardman; one daughter, Mrs. Maurice (Margaret) Wood of St. Ignace; nine grandchildren; several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Several sisters and brothers preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held Thu, Mar 14, 1991, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. E. Dan Johnson, pastor of the Kalkaska Church of Christ, officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
