Paul W. Winright of Jackson, formerly of Kalkaska, passed away on Oct 2, at the age of 91.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn, and four brothers; Gale, Harold, Carl, and Robert. He will be remembered by three sisters; Eva Hopcraft, Ruth Place, and Mary (Harry) Bunn; as well as by several nieces and nephews; including special niece, Jenny (Kurt) Carlson.
Paul was a farmer most of his life. He enjoyed being outdoors and partaking in the simple pleasures of life. He was very close with his family; he moved to Jackson, after his wife died, so that he could be near them.
He resided at the John George home, where he received excellent care that was provided by the staff and Allegiance Hospice. A visitation was scheduled for Sun, Oct 5 from 1 to 3 pm at the funeral home. Paul will be laid to rest in Oakwood Cemetery in Grass Lake, where a graveside service was conducted on Mon, Oct 6 at 1 pm with Pastor Galen Grulke officiating.
