Paul E. Thrasher, 66, of Kalkaska, died Sat, Jul 17, 1999, at his home.
Born in Ann Arbor on Dec 4, 1932, he is the son of Wesley and Edit Drain Thrasher. On Apr 7, 1979, in Kalkaska, he married Coral Hershberger.
Paul had been a lifelong resident of the Antrim and Kalkaska county areas. He retired from Wickes Corporation in Mancelona in 1989 following 24 years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and his family.
Surviving are wife Coral; sons Jack (Ranae) Thrasher of Middleburn, IN, LeRoy Thrasher of Kalkaska, and Paul (Sherri) Thraser Jr of Bellaire; daughters Molly (Leonard) Nichols of Homer, Rose Kitz and Regina Thrasher, both of Mancelona, Lena Thrasher of Toledo, OH, and Carrie Thrasher at home; brothers Richard (Sandy) Thrasher of Cedar Springs, David (Gerrie) Thrasher of Belmont, and Phillip (Sally) Thrasher of Bellaire; sisters Laura (Fran) Lacy of Central Lake and Lulu (Virgil) Tracey of Kalkaska; brother in law John Webb of Rockford; stepfather Harry White of Bellaire; grandchildren Dustin, Amanda, Nicholas, Monica, and Tyler; eight step grandchildren; nine step great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Son Charles and sisters Beverly, Virginia, and Carol preceded him in death.
Memorial services were Jul 24 at the Antrim Church of Christ; Yogi Jabara officiated. Interment was in Chapman Cemetery.
