Patrick Lee Libbey, 13, of Kalkaska, died Saturday afternoon, Jul 18, 1992, at Munson Medical Center.
Patrick had lived in Kalkaska County since 1982, and was a seventh grade student at Kalkaska Middle School. He was very active in 4-H and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and animals.
He was born in Harve De Grace, Maryland on Dec 27, 1978, to Kent and Donna VanDorn Libbey who survive.
Besides his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Matthew and Nathan, both at home; his maternal grandmother, Bessie VanDorn of Boyne City; his paternal grandmother, Edith Libbey of Vermont; his paternal great grandmother, Mildred Ellis of Vermont; several aunts and uncles, and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandfathers and one aunt.
Funeral services were held Wed, Jul 22, 1992 at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Rev. Maury Mallion, pastor of the Lake City Free Methodist Church, officiated. Burial was in Barnard Cemetery, Charlevoix County.
