Patricia Gayle LaMay passed on to be with the Lord on May 10, 2004, with her family by her side at her residence in Kalkaska. She fought a courageous battle with leukemia.
Born on Nov 27, 1947, she was the daughter of Roland and Elizabeth (Milligan) MacAulay.
Patricia married Lonnie LaMay on Nov 2, 1968, in Flint. They moved to Kalkaska in 2000 and were the owners of Blimpies in Kalkaska. Patricia was also a former employee of Rolison Service Center in Clio. She attended Kalkaska Church of Christ.
Patricia is survived by her husband of 35 years, Lonnie; her children, Timothy R. LaMay of Flint, Tammy G LaMay of Flushing, Lonnie D (Rhonda Craft) LaMay of Mt Morris, Teri Lynn (Michael Chambers) LaMay of Grand Blanc and Chad R. LaMay of Flint; 10 grandchildren; one great granddaughter; her mother, Elizabeth MacAulay of St Thomas, Ontario; her brother and sisters, Douglas (Liz) MacAulay of New Sarem, Ontario, Betty Anne (Al) Bod of St. Thomas, Ontario, and Judy MacAulay of London, Ontario; her brother in law, Milton Snelgrove of Aylmer, Ontario; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding Patricia in death was her father, Roland MacAulay; her sister, Beverly Snelgrove, and her granddaughter, Lena LaMay.
Visitation was held May 12 and 13 at Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. The funeral service was May 14 with Dan Johnson officiating from Kalkaska Church of Christ. Interment was at Oliver Township Cemetery.
