Pansy U. McConnell, 81, of Kalkaska, died Sun, Aug 15, 1999, at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, VA.
She was born Feb 9, 1918, in Port Huron, the daughter of Fred and Alma Huffman. On Jun 10, 1950, she married the late George W. McConnell.
Pansy was a resident of Kalkaska for 24 years. she was employed with Gulf and Western in Mancelona until she retired. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, and visiting family and friends.
She is survived by her daughters Rhoda Buck of Lorena, TX and Judith Simpson of Fredericksburg, VA; son George D. McConnell of Alba; 10 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Memorial services are at 2 pm, Mon, Aug 30 at the Church of the Nazarene, located at 1367 W. Kalkaska Rd, Kalkaska.
