Otis Frank Page, 85, of Kalkaska, passed away on Fri, Nov 28 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City. He was born on Jul 30, 1923 in Bliss Township, the son of the late Frank and Frieda (Burgess) Page.
Otis was the beloved husband of Willie; the loved father of Nancy (John) Thorne and Sandra (Jim) Tracey, all of Kalkaska; the devoted grandfather of Melissa, Michele, Amy, and John Jr, and the great grandfather of Christian, Nicholas, Alexis, and Cayden.
Otis was preceded in death by his sister, Lavola, and his brother Everett.
Otis was a WWII veteran, serving in the US Army. He married Willie Spence on Jun 9, 1947 in Plymouth. Otis worked for Lincoln Asphalt as a time grader operator and upon retirement, moved to Kalkaska in 1973.
Not being one to sit around, Otis began working for Kalkaska Public Schools in the maintenance department. In 2004, he retired for the second time. Otis was a member of the Kalkaska VFW Post 8684. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather.
Visitation was held on Sun, Nov 30 from 5 to 8 pm at Wolfe-O'Neill Funeral Home. The funeral service was on Mon at 11 am at the Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Matt Moser and Pastor Ron Gay officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
